 mysqlRadius 1.71 (Default)
Section: Unix

Added: Thu, Apr 4th 2002 18:17 UTC (6 years, 6 months ago) Updated: Fri, Mar 10th 2006 11:06 UTC (2 years, 7 months ago)

Screenshot About:
mysqlRadius is a browser-based front/backend for industry standard 1.6.6 Cistron radiusd. It is fast, clean, and allows the complete and efficient administration of 1 to a very large number of RADIUS servers (and proxies). This is an ISP-quality tool, and part of the OpenISP project suite (i.e. mysqlISP-compatible). A 100% template-driven wrapper (ism|4) is available from unixservice.com. It allows SMTP-AFTER-AUTH with mysqlSendmail-managed sendmail servers using the mysqlRadius modified Cistron server. Both MD5 and DES passwords and large realm logins are supported.

Release focus: Major feature enhancements

Changes:
This release is Subversion and Trac hosted and ticket controlled. There are major user interface and workflow changes. There are schema changes for newer versions of MySQL.

[»] Spanish/English language tutorial update
by openisp - Oct 17th 2003 14:07:59

The somewhat "ugly" spanish tutorial has been replaced with a modern easier to read format -even though the release number is still 1.3. And english translation of this much expanded doc is forthcoming. We will be reviewing, expanding and reformating all documentation for all mysqlISP subsystems during the next 2/3 months. This is major work and any comments and/or corrections from the user community are well received.

[»] New mysqlradius0.3-radiusd-cistron-1.6.6.tar.gz available
by openisp - Dec 17th 2002 14:02:37

smtp-after-auth ability added for use with sister application mysqlSendmail. Get rid of annoying and dangerous third party DUL's. Async operation allows very efficient handling of many updates per hour of sendmail access relay file.

Yes, I think some german dude got it working on an old raq3. It is very simple C stuff...and if you can get a named running and mySQL then it will work on anything.

[»] First functional release 1.0 available
by openisp - Jun 3rd 2002 17:07:21

mysqlRadius is currently being used in production, so we have decided to release 1.0 even though there is a lack of documentation and migration tools. Check the project home page for more info. Have fun!
