About:
The Realtime Application Interface for Linux
allows applications with strict timing constraints
to be run on Linux. A real time system is able to
guarantee the timing requirements of the processes
under its control. RTAI provides an API and the
necessary kernel modifications to accommodate such
requirements.
Release focus: Major feature enhancements
Changes:
Both the 2.4 and 2.6 kernels are now supported. The RTHAL patches are no longer supported as a switch was made to the ADEOS patches.
