About:
snmp4php implements Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) in pure PHP as an alternative to the UCDSNMP/NETSNMP extension. It supports threadless parallel gets, walks, and sets for extremely fast polling (compared to sequential) of an entire network. Traps and bulk gets are supported. A simple MIB compiler is included.

Changes:
Several bitwise operations were changed to
arithmetic to avoid problems with overflow to
float. Version .1 should not be used, as incorrect
data is returned for results larger than the range
of signed integers (such as large unsigned ints).
A timeout was added to prevent hanging when remote
device is not responding. The set function now has
more data types. An outgoing packet cache was
added for rapid polling of multiple devices.
