 TCP Re-engineering Tool 1.3.1 (Unstable)
Section: Unix

Added: Sat, Jul 20th 2002 13:07 UTC (6 years, 2 months ago) Updated: Sat, Dec 22nd 2007 13:25 UTC (9 months, 19 days ago)

About:
TCP Re-engineering Tool monitors and analyzes data transmitted between a client and a server via a TCP connection. It focuses on the data stream (software layer), not on the lower level transmission protocol (as packet sniffers do).

Release focus: Major feature enhancements

Changes:
Signal handling has been implemented. This is particularly useful to terminate the program when it runs in the background. Synchronous I/O multiplexing has been rewritten; the core data monitoring engine will now correctly determine when it should read data from the client or the server in all cases.
