Screenshot About:
SiteBar is a multi-user, multi-group bookmark server that lets users view, add, import, and maintain bookmarks from anywhere. It offers enterprise-quality access rights and granular permissions. Corporations can use it as a complete intranet bookmark solution, and end-users can use it to access their bookmark collection from anywhere, and share it with friends. It is intended for use in a browser's sidebar, and offers a clean, easy to use interface.

You can find our Free Public Server at sitebar.beket.nl - running the latest stable version for over a year now.

We promise: NO SPAM (update info is optional) and no banners.

More information is available in our about section.

[»] Excellent tool
by jdostermanjr - Sep 18th 2004 20:36:19

Amazon just came out with their bookmark/diary/search toolbar... It got me to thinking how nice it would be to have all my links available whereve I was working...but I disliked the idea of depending on them. I figured that if it I looked long enough I could find a PHP/mySQL app, and then there it was.

SiteBar is just the thing. And the mature group and security features really get you thinking about the possibilties.

MUCH more flexible than anything you could get on a public server, as well as easy upload/download of links. Excellent work!

Now, if someday we have something like this, WITH Amazon's (a9.com) diary feature, it will be a killer!

This is a really useful app, Im in love!

All it needs is a webbased bookmark inport feature. (Is this possible?)

Ditto here. I never thought I would collect bookmarks again until I found this neat little app.
