About:
VNC stands for Virtual Network Computing. It is,
in essence, a remote display system which allows
you to view a computing "desktop" environment not
only on the machine where it is running, but from
anywhere on the Internet and from a wide variety
of machine architectures.

by linux - Oct 21st 2004 18:59:02
If you look at SecurityFocus.COM, you would notice that VNC isn't rank high
at all. The highest ranking report on VNC is # 72, and is dated 1998 !
The report is at
http://search.securityfocus.com/swsearch?query=vnc&sbm=%2F&submit=Search%21&metaname=alldoc&sort=swishlastmodified&reverse=on
Find out about it yourself !

VNC is freedom!
by ledskof - Feb 16th 1999 15:11:31
As we all know, Linux is the very best working environment for anyone who
chooses to use it. VNC gives us the freedom to work in a homogenous
environment without having to dual-boot. It just plain works!
