[»] Didn't mean to grumble ...

Lest I be misunderstood, FUDforum is a great piece of software. The support forums are very good and the developers are extremely responsive.

[»] Integrates with mailing list
by Hari Nair - May 19th 2004 21:53:39

FUDforum can be used in conjunction with a mailing list, so subscribers can get every message posted to the forum by email as well as post new messages by email.

None of the other forum software I looked at had this capability, which was important to me.

Unfortunately forum members must make two accounts, one for the forum and one for the mailing list since they are two separate entities.

That is only the case if the users register under a
different e-mail address then the one they use to post
    to the mailing list.

[»] Flexible image attachment showing

You can determine showing or not showing images in your attachement in every post. This feature is my favorite.

[»] Best out of many
by awalker - May 5th 2003 14:09:26

I spent 2 days first finding and reading up on all available forum software, then installing phpBB, Invision and FUDforum and testing them out. I found FUDforum to the best because it looks good, has many features built in, it installs easily and upgrades easily. I highly recomend it
