About:
Auth-X is the Web-based authentication component for R-BOSS components (Actual-X, News-X, Track-x, etc). Though Auth-X is not directly accessed by users, it plays a fundamental role in tying the various R-BOSS components together. The "User" module/library is used by R- BOSS applications to authenticate users against a central user database. The User module also authorizes whether a user is allowed to perform various tasks (i.e. whether a user may create a new actuality or read the current list of actualities in Actual-X).
