Well, no. That wasn't really a takeover, but during the transition to freshmeat II you have to request ownership to be able to make fundamental changes to your project record, like recategorizing it in the trove tree. Since we didn't have any ownership before, all projects are now owned by "N/A" by default. You may request ownership through the change owner link in the project menubar.
